Agency Disclosure: A written explanation to be signed by a prospective buyer or seller explaining to the client the role that the real estate broker plays in the transaction. For example, a real estate agent will fill out this form in conjunction with a contract to purchase a home. The form clarifies which agent of which brokerage represents the buyer and which represents the seller. In some cases, one agent of one brokerage represents both the buyer and seller simultaneously. In other cases, either the buyer or the seller is represented by an agent and the opposite party is not represented by anyone.
